Longhorns, anyone?

After seeing my LSU and Tech pillowcase dresses, I had a request for a Texas Longhorns one. Of course I wouldn't find any of that fabric around here, so I got my Texas-residing mother-in-law to hunt some down for me! This is the finished product! Hope you like it Shonna!

Another Halloween Dress

A couple of weekends ago, some girlfriends and I had a garage sale together. There was a girl that came by and kept looking at my pillowcase dresses (while I got to hold her 6-month-old baby!). She actually went to school with one of the girls doing the garage sale with us. She ended up calling her later that day and saying, "hey, do you think that girl that makes the pillowcase dresses would make me a Halloween one that has more orange and less black?". My Halloween fabric that I've been using is orange jack-o-lanterns on a black background. I think this fabric is equally cute!

Cocktail Napkins/Coasters

I love these monogrammed cocktail napkins! I use them as coasters, but you can use them however you want. I can only get these in white and ivory now. A set of 4 makes a wonderful gift for any occasion.

Elle

I was so happy to make a couple of dresses for a friend of mine (Aimee) for her little girl (Elle...dontcha just love that name?). I don't think either one of us would've expected me to be sewing for our little girls one day. It's hard to imagine being a wife, mama, and domesticated when you're in college! HA!

Aimee was a cheerleader at Tech and her husband was a football player...so

of course Elle needs to be festive when they show up at the Tech Homecoming game next month! I have a 9 month and a 12 month left if anyone else needs one!

And this Halloween fabric is super-cute! I have some that I got to make Avie a dress and I also got another print with trendy, whimsical witches! I know that sounds weird, but they're really cute witches! In my world, my child has to wear festive clothes at least twice a week for the month leading up to a holiday. She will have 2 Halloween pillowcase dresses and has a smocked Halloween dress. I'm sure I will be applique-ing her a t-shirt to wear too! (maybe with leggings and a Halloween tutu!)

I made my first covered book for Avie's baby book. I wanted her to have one of those fabric-covered, monogrammed books but I couldn't make myself pay $150 for one. So...I made one! I did it in pink silk with a pink monogram and ribbon and VOILA!

One of my best friends is welcoming a baby boy next month and her baby shower was this past Saturday. This is the baby book I made for her. I love the font (I've never used it before and I thought it looked masculine). She loved it too...I'm so glad Lindsey!

Pillowcase dresses

I have recently begun making pillowcase dresses...in all sizes! These are some that I've made, some still in stock, some already sold or given as gifts! I monogram these also. They are adorable in the summer or let your little girl wear one with a long sleeve shirt and leggings in the Fall/Winter!

I have made several of this print. Since the print is so busy, the monogram in the center of the chest would get lost, so I generally monogram on the hem. This fabric is easliy available, so I can get more.

See what I mean about the monogram on the chest getting lost in the print of the fabric? That's why it looks so cute on the hem sometimes.

Initial Pillow

I monogrammed this for my mother-in-law for her birthday. I really wanted to keep it! Ha! I'll make myself one soon...

These are a little pricier than the linen baby pillows...they're a bigger too, though. This pillow is made of a silky taffeta fabric. Kind of fancy and dressy!

I made this wedding album for a co-worker's daughter. She used a scrapbook-type album instead of the traditional wedding memory book....and I did too! It was fun doing themed pages for each shower and party. I can cover scrapbooks or I can cover a traditional album. I can do any color and type of fabric, ribbon, and monogram (name, 1 initial, or set of initials). This is custom, so YOU choose!
