Long time, no post!!!

Yeah, sorry, I've been slackin' huh?! Well, the business hasn't been! I did SOOOO much work October-December (up until the day before Christmas Eve!) and decided I needed to take a little break in January. I picked back up toward the end of January and business has been boomin' ever since! If you are interested in anything you see, leave a comment or email me at shell_134@hotmail.com and I'll quote you prices!

Here are some things I did for my friends Mandy and Ben Jones...they are expecting a little boy in just a couple of weeks! I love Mandy's style and the things she's picked out for Brooks.

This is one of my favorite new applique designs...I mean, look how cute you can make a cloth diaper look!

monogrammed Paty blankets

minky dot monogrammed blanket...love this fabric, so soft and cuddly!

of course the camo!

Brooks' dad is a big deer hunter...as is Chad...so if we ever have a little boy, we'll have this same stuff!

My friends Kelly and Blake Davis are expecting a little girl, Kami Grace, in a couple of weeks as well, so here are her baby gifts from the Hendrix's!

We hung these little bloomers on a clothesline at her baby shower!

We took Avie to see Playhouse Disney Live back in October, so I made her this shirt to go with her pink birthday pettiskirt!

Ain't she cute??

My cousin ordered these monogrammed, covered photo albums for her girls.
This one is Jadyn's.

And this one is Laurashae's.

And my sister ordered this custom pillowcase dress for her BFF's little girl, Madeline. I made one for Avie out of this same fabric last summer, except it had gingham trim at the bottom...

Also, my cousin who ordered the photo albums ordered this LSU pillowcase dress for her 5-year-old. They just don't have much cute LSU fabric around her so I opted for purple and gold with LSU ribbon!

Ok, you can giggle a little if you want...but aren't these adorable? My cousin ordered these for her soon-to-be sister-in-law back in the Fall. It was her "something blue"!

And my friend, Shannon (I student taught for her and we've stayed close), ordered this photo album as a wedding gift.

My old roommate ordered this for her wedding guestbook. I loved the colors she chose...

My friend, Kara, brought this by and needed a "Fall-ish" applique for her little boy, Bo.

I used the same fabric for the applique on this bib for him...

Kara also needed a couple of burp cloths for baby Bo

...and a cosmetic bag for herself...every girl needs one of these!

Longhorns, anyone?

After seeing my LSU and Tech pillowcase dresses, I had a request for a Texas Longhorns one. Of course I wouldn't find any of that fabric around here, so I got my Texas-residing mother-in-law to hunt some down for me! This is the finished product! Hope you like it Shonna!

Elle

I was so happy to make a couple of dresses for a friend of mine (Aimee) for her little girl (Elle...dontcha just love that name?). I don't think either one of us would've expected me to be sewing for our little girls one day. It's hard to imagine being a wife, mama, and domesticated when you're in college! HA!
Aimee was a cheerleader at Tech and her husband was a football player...so
of course Elle needs to be festive when they show up at the Tech Homecoming game next month! I have a 9 month and a 12 month left if anyone else needs one!
And this Halloween fabric is super-cute! I have some that I got to make Avie a dress and I also got another print with trendy, whimsical witches! I know that sounds weird, but they're really cute witches! In my world, my child has to wear festive clothes at least twice a week for the month leading up to a holiday. She will have 2 Halloween pillowcase dresses and has a smocked Halloween dress. I'm sure I will be applique-ing her a t-shirt to wear too! (maybe with leggings and a Halloween tutu!)
I have had lots of orders for this dress!

Pillowcase dresses

I have recently begun making pillowcase dresses...in all sizes! These are some that I've made, some still in stock, some already sold or given as gifts! I monogram these also. They are adorable in the summer or let your little girl wear one with a long sleeve shirt and leggings in the Fall/Winter!

Monogrammed pillowcase dress: $25

I have made several of this print. Since the print is so busy, the monogram in the center of the chest would get lost, so I generally monogram on the hem. This fabric is easliy available, so I can get more.

For my niece, Caroline.

I have 2 Louisiana Tech dresses...these are on sale for $18!

I have several Christmas ones, made and ready to ship! Just ask about sizes.

Perfect for the Fall and Thanksgiving.

LSU

Halloween
These are in high-demand right now! I have several orders for this dress.

This was a birthday gift for a friend's little girl. This fabric is also easily available, so I can get more if you want this one!

Another birthday gift for a friend's little girl. This was my first one to make for someone other than Avie!

And this one is the first one I ever made. I love this fabric. I can look for it, but it may be impossible to find now.
See what I mean about the monogram on the chest getting lost in the print of the fabric? That's why it looks so cute on the hem sometimes.
